Once upon a time,
Since the first time,
Since the end
And the beginning,
A story.

A fire. A beacon.
A stubborn spark,
Lightning among the dark.

A story that speaks
Of forgotten myths
Of hidden gods
Of me and the rain.

A story that dances
In the winds of the storm
In the shadows of sunset
In the leaves of red fall.

A story
That burns and dies down
That guides and remember
That carries within
All other stories.

A story that’s mine
And to which I belong.

I’m made of verses,
Of songs and legends
Of battles and dawn
Of ashes and stone.

I am the fearless beacon,
The rock and the cliff,
The mist and the flame,
And the darkness above us.
